Mr. Gehlot is also a practicing Commercial and Corporate lawyer in Delhi, currently managing the legal and business department at Pucho Technology Information Private Limited, a leading B2B, B2B, and B2C platform providing Artificial Intelligence / Internet of Things / Blockchain based solutions to companies across industries globally.
Mr. Gehlot earlier worked in the Dispute Resolution team at Wadia Ghandy & Co., where he handled renowned domestic arbitrations and real estate matters in India. He has gained relevant practical experience in the corporate & commercial team at Capital Solicitors LLP, London and also got an opportunity to work with Kennedys, London & Norton Rose Fulbright, London one of the top law firms globally.
He is also involved in advising foreign holdings & operating company structures on commercial and business parameters. With his extensive knowledge in e-commerce, he has been actively involved in providing services to start-ups and major e-commerce players. Presently, along with Pucho, he has been handling various legal matters of different real-estate and fashion start-up in India and abroad. He experts in drafting of employment, confidentiality and business agreements along with necessary legal documentation (tax registration, trademarks and copyright) and mandatory compliance on behalf of emerging start-ups.
Education & Experience
Mr. Gehlot received his Master of Laws (LL.M) in Commercial and Corporate law from Queen Mary University of London, and B.B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) from The Northcap University, Gurugram (India), and Diploma in Entrepreneurship Administration and Business Laws from National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS), Kolkata (India).
Prior to LL.M., Mr. Gehlot has worked with leading practitioners and prominent law firms, which has given him an intuitive understanding of the practical aspects of legal compliances, dispute resolution and commercial laws prevalent in India / abroad. This on-ground experience, coupled with his in-depth knowledge of international commercial and intellectual property laws gained at Queen Mary University has helped him deliver quality service at par with international standards to renowned clients in various sectors such as, real-estate, intellectual property rights & technology start-ups in Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain.
Mr. Gehlot has been providing his services to UN Volunteers, India. He has been actively involved as member of Singapore International Arbitration Centre (YSIAC, Singapore) and provides quality and neutral arbitration services to international business and legal communities. He also writes quality legal articles on emerging issues such as “Euthanasia”, “Application of Tax Rules in Multinational Enterprises” and “GDPR-Key Changes” that have been published in several reputed national & international journals.
Mr. Gehlot is an active member of Indian Lawyers Association (ILA) and Representative of Project Abhimanyu, an initiative that aims to provide free guidance and information to law students in India.
